Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and assist with their vehicle inquiries 
  • Demonstrate product knowledge and provide information about features, benefits and financing options
  • Build rapport and establish trust with customers to help them make informed buying decisions
  • Manage customer inquiries and provide accurate and timely responses
  • Schedule test drives and follow up with customers to assess their satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed monthly sales targets
  • Maintain knowledge of current promotions and incentives to maximize sales opportunities

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED 
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Career Growth Path

Entry-Level Roles

  • Lube Technician / Apprentice Tech - Oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, paired with a mentor.

  • Express Maintenance Tech - Toyota's fast-lane services, building speed, efficiency, and teamwork skills.

Certified Technician Levels

  • Maintenance Technician - Handles scheduled maintenance & light repairs, starts flat rate.

  • Certified Technician - Brakes, suspension, HVAC, electrical basics; able to work independently.

Advanced Technician Roles

  • Specialist / Expert Technician - Engine, transmission, hybrid & electrical diagnostics.

  • Master Technician - Top-level Toyota certification, hybrid/ADAS systems, mentors others, works with shop foreman & Toyota regional reps.

Leadership & Specialty Paths

  • Shop Foreman / Team Lead - Oversees workflow, supports technicians, collaborates with advisors.


Typical Pay Ranges

  • Lube / Express Tech: $30k - $40k

  • Maintenance / Certified Tech: $45k - $65k

  • Specialist / Expert Tech: $60k - $85k

  • Master Tech: $80k - $120k+

  • Shop Foreman / Manager: $90k - $150k+


Qualifications

  • ASE Certification required (Toyota/Lexus certification preferred)

  • Utah Safety Inspection Certification a plus

  • Previous dealership or repair experience preferred but not required - we will train the right candidate

  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, positive attitude, and willingness to learn

  • Own tools (Master Technicians)

  • Valid driver's license & clean driving record

  • Must pass a drug test and background check


Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and perform maintenance on all vehicle systems

  • Conduct regular maintenance: alignments, fluid flushes, spark plug replacement, brake service, etc.

  • Work collaboratively with the service team to deliver exceptional customer care

Automotive Lube Technician - Full Time

 

Job Description

Automotive Lube Technicians are responsible for servicing vehicles assigned by management. Including rotating tires, performing multi-point inspections, and changing automotive fluids. This is an entry level service position with opportunity for an automotive career path. We are looking for a candidate that can work in a fast paced environment and provide a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Perform multi-point inspections, tests and standard maintenance jobs.
• Check & change automotive fluids
• Maintain cleanliness of serviced vehicles
• Complete required documentation in compliance with regulations & standards
• Abide by shop safety standards
• Communicate effectively & efficiently with service advisors
• Perform other duties assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Customer service oriented
• Detail oriented
• Good problem solving skills
• Basic computer and internet skills
• Must be able to drive manual & automatic transmissions
• Valid driver's license & clean driving record
• Automotive knowledge preferred

Vehicle Detail - Lot Technician (Full Time)

Vehicle Detail - Lot Technicians at our Layton & Riverdale locations. Lot Technicians prepare vehicles for the dealership showroom, lot, sale and delivery by washing & detailing the interior & exterior cosmetics.

Vehicle preparation may include:

  • Washing
  • Vacuuming
  • Buffs
  • Waxes
  • Shampooing
  • Restoring interior
  • Restoring exterior
  • Applying fabric protection
  • Cleaning engine compartments
  • Charging vehicle batteries
  • Replace or adjust minor parts or accessories
  • Replenishing fuel in vehicles

Requirements:

  • Able to lift heavy objects

No experience is necessary; we will train the right person. However, experience in detailing & general automotive knowledge is preferred.
